Ciara Sturges is an artist and teacher working across multiple disciplines. She creates murals, illustrations and original artworks, and facilitates workshops within the community. Her work can be found in private homes; restaurants and bars; in community and public spaces including hospitals. She works primarily from her home in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, though travels widely to facilitate, design and install murals and artworks.
Ciara is a founder of the mural collective Rock Steady Crew, through which she and her business partner Charlotte Mellor-Meecham work together to lead art projects from bid to instalment.
Ciara’s signature style is playful. She works primarily with bold shapes, bright colours and repetitive patterns.
Ciara enjoys the versatility her job brings, adapting her style to create unique and striking artworks for any space.
